Cedar Chest
This chest is 47 1/2 " long, 18 3/4" wide, and 20 1/2" deep with a sliding tray that is 14 1/4" X 16 1/8" and 3 1/2" deep. It is made entirely of Eastern Red Cedar. Finished (outside only) with clear polyurethane. Item is SOLD.
Furniture
Hand crafted furniture items are usually onhand in the shop. We do custom work but most furniture is our own designs. Most items in stock are likely one of a kind crafted from quality hardwoods. We try to keep a good supply of Indiana Hardwoods in stock such as walnut, cherry, hickory, cedar, and white oak. Other woods we have used include sasafrass, basswood, apple, and other native species. The following items are examples of my work and may or may not be in stock at this time.

Checkerboard Coffee Table
This table measures 36 1/8" long, 24 3/16" wide and 16 ½" high. The board measures 16" X 16". It is made of Black Walnut and Basswood. This is surrounded by a Red Cedar band. The remainder of the top is Black Walnut and Basswood, with a Black Walnut edge. The legs are Red Oak, and the skirt between the legs is Sassafras. This is all finished with clear polyurethane. Item is SOLD.
Checkerboard Table
This table is 28 3/4 X 28 3/4 and 29 1/2 high. The playing board is 16" X 16", made of Black Walnut and Basswood. The remainder of the top is of Eastern Red Cedar and Basswood. With a band of Eastern Red Cedar around the edge. The stem is a natural growth of Sassafras. It is finished with clear polyurethane. Due to the stem this is one of a kind. Cedar Star Table
The top of this table measures 26 ¾" X 26 ¾", it is 28 ½ " high. The Eastern Red Cedar star in the center is 20 ½" point to point. It is surrounded by 1 1/8" stripes of Basswood and Eastern Red Cedar. Then banded by a Red Cedar edge. The stem on this table is a natural growth Sassafras burl. Everything is then finished with clear polyurethane. The price on this table is $225.00 (picked up at my shop only).
Walnut Quilt Rack
This rack is 36" tall, 37 1/2 " wide, and 19 5/8" projection. It is made entirely of Black Walnut finished with clear polyurethane. Price is $45.00 (picked up at my shop only).
Boat Shaped Shelves
This unit is 43 1/4 inches tall, 14 3/4 inches wide and 5 3/4 inches deep. Shelves are 4 1/4 inches deep. The sides of this unit are 1/4 inch plywood. The bottom is 1/2 inch plywood (unless otherwise specified). Shelves can be any species I have in stock. Price is $55.00 (picked up at my shop).
Smoking Stand
This smoking stand is 23 inches tall and 10 1/2 inches in diameter. The stem of this stand is a piece of red elm that branched, then grew back together. This is a natural growth found in the woods. The base and top are made from sassafras. The entire unit is finished in clear polyurethane. This is definately one of a kind due to the stem. Item is SOLD.
