Intarsia, also known as segmentation, is sometimes called "art with wood". All the pieces you see here are made in my shop from native hardwoods. Each piece is cut, shaped, and sanded, then glued together and glued on a backer. The colors are the natural color of the wood unless noted. Each piece is initialed, dated and numbered.
